Profile A versatile and highly successful Bid Manager, with over 20 years' experience of successfully managing high value, technically complex Public Sector bids. With an enviable track record of winning national IT contracts in the Healthcare sector, supported by well-developed commercial background. Particularly skilled in the delivery of strategic bid management services; developing and implementing end-to-end corporate bid strategies and associated processes. Equally qualified in all aspects of tactical bid management, including leading on partnership working and sub-contracting and consortium bids. A natural and charismatic relationship-builder, with strong interpersonal skills, experienced in managing cross functional, diverse teams in the initiation, planning and execution to specific bid outcomes. Key Achievements Responsible for overall bid management of technically complex national NHS tenders. Instrumental in successfully bid managing the company's award to an NHS £1.2bn IT framework contract. Development of a pro-active, company-wide bid management function; developing all necessary bid management strategies, processes, content management as well as ensuring appropriate resource to capitalise on identified tender opportunities. Experience Extensive knowledge of Public Sector procurement processes. Responsible for planning and developing corporate partnerships programme, establishing and developing new commercial opportunities. Proven ability to build, inspire, motivate and lead teams of direct reports and stakeholders in common objectives. Well-developed networking and influencing skills. Highly regarded planning and organisational skills, with the ability to deliver against tight deadlines and perform well under pressure. Strong commercial awareness and business acumen gained through previous commercial and business development background.
