Bid Director

Profile An experienced Bid Director with over 30 years in the IT industry. This associate believes that winning good business is about leadership, engaging with the client and constructively challenging the organisation and not just administering an internal process. They operate comfortably at CxO level both within client organisations and within their own organisation. Key Achievements Ability to shape and lead large and complex sales campaigns, taking them from initial concept, through strategic planning, mobilisation and execution, including effective communication at all levels. Planning and monitoring complex programmes, driving the best from teams and pragmatically handling any issues to ensure the best business outcomes. Creation and development of a central bid unit in Logica. Significant major bid management and sales experience (Public / Private Sectors), both domestic and global. Negotiating Public and Private sector IT service contracts. Experience Leads campaigns and bids, heavily involved in strategic development and all client engagement and can function as an effective sales lead when required. Successful in bid management, sales, sales management and general management; broad range of scope and experience across large, mid-size and smaller IT services companies; considerable success in winning large outsourcing contracts with Capita, Logica and Fujitsu.
