Profile One of fewer than 100 Certified Proposal Professionals worldwide, having achieved the highest level of certification from the APMP, this associate is also a graduate of the College of Estate Management. An experienced and senior consultant, this associate advises clients across a range of sectors on live deals as well as on driving systemic improvements to their proposal processes.Key Achievements Managed large scale, multi-million pound complex proposals across a range of sectors and primarily in the Construction and Engineering sector (greater than £100m). Successful delivery of £460m Nuclear sector bid working with a joint venture company recently announced as preferred bidder. Led best practice improvement programmes - introducing proposal quality assessments and best practice tools and techniques to make winning easier. Coaching individuals and teams to develop the skills required to lead and manage business winning propositions.Experience Over 12 years' experience of leading, developing and managing winning bid teams. Designing the first ever bid and proposals apprenticeship, this associate is a self-starter with a real desire to work collaboratively with individuals, teams and organisations for the greater good of the profession. A background developed in Construction and Engineering predominantly bidding into both private and public sectors and more recent experience gained in both the Financial and Media sectors across the whole range of bidding activity. An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing and now a board member of the APMP in the UK, this associate has responsibility for apprenticeships and development and regularly speaks at key industry events on this subject. Additional areas of experience have been demonstrated across a number of areas; proposal improvement initiatives, live deal support and knowledge base builds within the Lighting, Facilities and IT services sectors, value proposition development in the Retail sector and support, training and process development in both Manufacturing and Rail arenas.
