Profile An experienced Technical Author, Project Manager, Presenter and Graphic Designer. Their expertise comes from working on medium to high value proposals across sectors as diverse as IT, Civil Infrastructure, Transport, Energy, Finance and Telecoms. Practiced in taking an RFP and breaking it down into its core elements, defining the key objectives that will provide a winning answer and working closely with SMEs to produce compelling answers in both a written or visual form. Key Achievements Successes have included working on bids to secure the design and build of rail lines as part of the Riyadh Metro network valued at US$10bn. Master-planning, design and project managing the King Abdullah Waad Al Shamaal City megaproject (city and industrial project) for the Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma'aden). Working with Tullett Prebon, the Interdealer broker, to gain Swap Execution Facility registration with the US government's Commodity Futures Trading Commission in response to the financial crisis and Dodd-Frank legislation. The successful bid allowed Tullett Prebon to continue trading foreign currencies, commodities, credit, equities, derivatives, non-deliverable forwards and rates to comply with Dodd-Frank legislation. PRINCE2 qualified. Experience Outside of the bid world this associate has worked in publishing, broadcast radio and as a university lecturer in Design, Writing, Editing and PR.
